My Homies Still (Lil Wayne ft. Big Sean)

This may not be the best song in the world, but I saw the video last week and it is pretty crazy. Here we go, My Homies Still by Lil Wayne featuring Big Sean.

(0:00-0:01) Just to start, if someone told me two months ago that Big Sean would have more videos on here than Kanye West I would have punched that person in the face. Kanye do more work.

(0:01-0:11) Not going to lie, this is kinda what I picture Lil Wayne's front lawn to look like.

(0:12-0:16) Yellow and black tiger striped board shorts and a Trukfit hat. What else would Lil Wayne be wearing.

(0:19-0:26) There is an elephant behind Lil Wayne. A real live elephant. I mean why wouldn't there be an elephant on his front lawn.

(0:29-0:32) Under a minute and we have our first skateboard sighting.

(0:45-0:47) Oh, a dancing panda bear. Is this just an extension from the HYFR video?

(0:47-0:49) If that really were Lil Wayne's neighbor, do you think he would even be shocked at this point. After about the first weekend of living next to Lil Wayne you are probably ready for anything.

(0:50-1:01) The elephant is pink now. Also, the shocked neighbor and his dog switched heads.

(1:04-1:06) Nice leather snap back Big Sean. I didn't know they still made those.

(1:08-1:12) Big Sean's leather vest matches his leather hat. At least he coordinates.

(1:13-1:14) I'm a big fan of the towel over the head. French Montana has perfected it though.

(1:24-1:26) I don't know what kind of glasses you might be wearing Big Sean but I'm pretty sure you never look like Eazy-E.

(1:36-1:40) Of course there is a girl in a cage on Lil Wayne's front lawn.

(1:42-1:46) I hope that girl knows she's making out with a mannequin.

(1:55-1:56) If the spinning neighborhood set wasn't enough, now Lil Wayne and Big Sean are in a room, rapping while standing on the ceiling.

(2:01-2:02) Another girl putting the moves on a mannequin. Lil Wayne's house must be fun.

(2:09-2:16) Big Sean is wearing a Finally Famous shirt. He is really running that phrase into the ground. That's the name of his album, mixtapes, and on his shirts, come on.

(2:18-2:26) For as much as Lil Wayne talks about skateboarding how often do we see him doing tricks. His skateboard antics in the Pop That video are classic though.

(2:27-2:28) Hey, a motorcycle. Meek Mill must be so excited right now.

(2:30-2:31) Green monster eyed Lil Wayne is kinda scary.

(2:36-2:41) Why yes, there are a bunch of girl's heads on Lil Wayne's wall. I assume they are trophies.

(2:43-2:44) The panda is back!

(2:45-2:50) Big Sean, it's what's for dinner. (That joke was terrible, sorry)

(2:54-3:03) Do you think the girl with the goat head is an illuminati reference?

(3:15-3:20) Now it's time for the Lil Wayne course of the meal.

(3:28-3:29) Almost a skateboard trick there by Lil Wayne.

(3:37-3:39) Whoa! A movie theater set. There have been a lot of location changes for this video. I appreciate Lil Wayne putting in the effort on this video.

(3:45-3:46) Fun fact, when people refer to Big Sean as being from the West, it is because he is from the West side of Detroit, not the West Coast. That's kind of confusing, so people should stop doing it.

(4:00-4:03) And we end with a "truk your girl" from Lil Wayne as he skateboards away.

That was a long video breakdown. There was a lot going on. I never even mentioned the scenes with two Lil Waynes and two Big Seans. Which is a familiar look for Big Sean.

OK song, fun video, nice work everyone. Hopefully the next video breakdown is from 2 Chainz since his album dropped this week. See what I did there?
